Card Lounge NJ Celebrates Grand Opening in Scotch Plains

Local collectors and hobbyists turned out Saturday for the grand opening of Card Lounge NJ, a new sports card and collectibles shop located at 1943 Route 22 West.

Mayor Josh Losardo, Councilmembers Matt Adams, Elizabeth Stamler, and Roc White, alongside Township Manager Margaret Heisey, attended the ribbon-cutting to support the new business.

Owner and Scotch Plains resident Steven Ripa launched the store following a successful online card-breaking business that grew out of his childhood passion for collecting. The retail storefront offers sports cards, Pokémon products, autographed memorabilia, graded singles, and sealed boxes, as well as trade nights and consignment services.

Ripa, who also owns a local performance car business, designed the space to serve as a family-friendly gathering spot for local collectors of all ages.

Card Lounge NJ is now open following a soft launch in April. Additional details are available at cardloungenj.com.
